The littlest person that lives in my house LOVES books.
She “reads” all the time – I think it’s fantastic. Except when she gets stuck on some ridiculous library book called “where did daddy’s hair go” – that book is SO weird and we have to read it every night!
She likes pretty much any book you give her. We have lots of Dr. Seuss and Disney books. A handful of Sandra Boyton books and a lot of other random books.
I want to get her some new books, maybe for her birthday or easter, so that means I need YOU to tell me about your favorite preschooler books.
Did I just type the word preschooler in reference to my daughter? That can’t be…..
Anyway – girly books are always fun – she has an awesome book called Camilla the Cupcake Fairy that has glittery pages (and the glitter stays ON the page!), that’s a huge hit!
But I just don’t have time to get lost in the bookstore – so I need your help to feed my little bookworm. Pretty please!

I needed some ideas for her for her bday! And she had me read her that hair book and all I could think of was how much he looked like mike lol! I do love reading to her!!
Fancy Nancy are a big hit in our house. I also just ordered Pinkalicious which looks pretty cute.
Some of the favorites in our house are:
Miss Nelson is Missing (with audio CD)
The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes
Any book from the Courdoroy Bear book series
The entire pinkalicious collection! !!!!!!
We love ALL of the Llama Llama books, Red Pajama is my favorite I think. Also, Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar? is adorable.
She loves the gas we pass at our house! Maybe papa will get that for her so she can read it at home!
No girly book recommendations here. :) But we love Harold and the Purple Crayon, and Is Your Mama a Llama? We also like the Llama Llama books that Alison mentioned, although you can read them for free on the We Give Books website! I love getting books at consignment sales and yard sales. Ooh, I just remembered: Click Clack Moo!!
Brown Bear books, llama llama, Curious George books, Little Bear (of course), the bear books by Karma Wilson, their current favorite we are maybe going to get her for her birthday ;-)
We love a ton a books, but, When Mama Comes Home Tonight by Eileen Spinelli & Illustrated by Jane Dyer is one that I think you might like because it's about working moms and all that they do for their kids out of love when they come home after work.
I'm sorry, but I kinda tuned everything else out after "where did daddy's hair go" because I was LOL so freaking hysterically and couldn't stop to process anything else. I need to see the book, please.
We do mostly Boyton books and she also LOOOOOOOVES the gigantic Disney collections from Costco, though, let's face it. I cannot stand them because the stories are long and way too wordy and BLARGH. I just don't like them and sorta want to punch the person that keeps giving them to her.
XOXO
