But for night sleep, she likes to be swaddled in one way or another – we moved her from a full swaddle to a one arm swaddle most nights but she is quickly out growing her swaddleme blankets. I found some halo sleep sack/swaddle combos which seem to be great – she likes to have her arm out (she sleeps with it over her head!) but she will be too long for those eventually too (just tonight I realized she has about 2-3” until her feet are at the bottom!)
I was able to receive a Merino Kids sleep sack for Aleesia – this thing IS AWESOME!
It’s organic cotton and so far, it has kept her cool and comfy at night. I am also pretty sure there is no way she is going to grow out of this thing anytime soon since Gianna can wear it!
But Aleesia snugs up perfectly in this thing:
It washes GREAT (which is a good thing since this one is able to pee through a diaper like a champ!)
There is an added bonus to the sleep sack, aside from ensuring she is warm at night, it keeps her from playing with her feet and staying awake too long! And, obviously, she is still able to hold her lovie and wub!
I don’t know that I would have found this on my own but I am thankful that we did discover it, I know we are going to get a lot of use out of this!
If you are looking for something to help your wee-one sleep at night, stay warm, and not have to worry about them growing out of it too quickly I HIGHLY recommend the Merino Kids Sleep Sack!
In the meantime, we’ll be putting this baby to bed in a sleep sack until she’s 4, obviously.
