- Merry Christmas Eve, my beautiful friends!
- Every time you ask G if Santa is coming to her house she says “no no nonononono NOOOOO”. She is a wee bit scared of the big guy.
- All the presents are wrapped. Cookies are baked. Outfits are chosen. Camera is charged. Let’s do this holiday thang!
- Speaking of camera’s – how do you capture life’s memories? Still or video? Obviously I use a still camera 99.9% of the time, but we DO have a video camera (and a cameraman for a husband…). Hopefully we remember to use it this weekend.
- My FIL said “we put a lot of thought into everyone’s gifts this year”. Which is scary. Because the IL’s are not the world’s best gift-givers. Who knows what we will end up with… but it’s the thought
and gift receiptsthat count, right? - They are also serving fried chicken (bought from a restaurant) for dinner tonight. MIL is also not the
even a remotely goodbest cook, so uh, maybe this will be okay? I am missing homemade lasagna at my mom’s though. - I love the Grinch Who Stole Christmas – Jim Carey version. LOVE.
- I also love french toast casserole and may eat the entire pan myself on Christmas am.
- I got my hair cut! And I love it a lot. I also wish I had my own personal stylist, because it just never looks as good when I do it.
- Enjoy your time with friends and family this weekend!

and... Gianna has the most awsomest aunt and uncle who got her some pretty cool presents already....
Gifts with lots of thought can be very interesting and sometimes very good!
We're going to take video of them coming down and opening some presents, but then just stills from there...maybe some more video of them playing with their loot. I used the video camera a lot this year to record them opening presents from far-away relatives. Then I sent that relative the video...a nice way for them to see reactions and the Crazies playing with their gifts.
Merry Christmas! Enjoy!!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I hope you have a very happy holidays with your in-laws, fried chicken, thoughtful gifts and all!
Merry Christmas, my friend.
Also, are you willing to share that french toast casserole recipe? :)
I, conversely, hate getting my hair cut for the same reason. It NEVER gets done that way again. LOL.
Merry Christmas!
I am almost exclusively a camera person, but my husband constantly reminds me to take video (or he takes it himself).
I want pictures of the new hair :)
Merry Christmas to you!
It became a tradition in my mom's family that my step-grandpa would bring KFC every year to Christmas Eve :) Now that my Granny is gone, we kind of miss it....and the undercooked food. Merry Christmas!
