I kept telling myself there was really nothing I needed to do to get ready, and of course that hasn't been true at all. But you sound like you're in good shape.Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335915683875653154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4936098968147761448.post-59236480110563463302013-01-17T10:39:35.585-05:002013-01-17T10:39:35.585-05:00Girl, you are way prepared! I don't know if it's a second kid thing, or if Jude was just a vacuum but nursing him HURT like a MOFO at first. I was bleeding and they were cracked. It took a while to toughen them up. (Not to mention that I was a blubbery hormonal mess, with bleeding boobs.) So - patience, lots of patience. You're going to do great. (I forget the brand, lanolin maybe, in the purple box) Cream for cracking? The playtex gel pads are amazing for relieving pain. Don't forget to ask your nurse or the lactation consultant in the hospital for samples of everything!
Do you have any freezer meals set aside? Or people willing to bring you food when you get home? That's even better!
Good luck! seussgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04000177197075148901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4936098968147761448.post-54530294362616386782013-01-17T06:44:39.472-05:002013-01-17T06:44:39.472-05:00Hon, you are way more prepared than I was! I think the other stuff can wait, you never know what will or wont work sometimes.

My one thing I would do is make sure you have some extra little gifts you can give to big sis when people come bearing baby gifts.Delennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12567889031642608101noreply@blogger.com
